Our Mission
At BCAR, our mission is to help each individual reduce his/her risk for being infected with HIV.  We are not here to judge your lifestyle or who you are.  We are here to help you take steps to reduce your risk of HIV infection, or transmission.

We strive to EDUCATE the community-at-large about the HIV / AIDS pandemic, working towards PREVENTION of the spread of the disease and SERVICE to those who are affected or effected by this modern day plague.

HIV and AIDS doesn't discriminate and neither should we - WE CARE FOR ALL.

Education
BCAR provides group or individual presentations that provide information about the transmission of HIV and other STD's.

Prevention
BCAR provides services designed to reduce the client's likelihood of transmitting or acquiring HIV.

Services
Direct Care Services are available for HIV positive individuals. These services are provided once an individual provides a confirmation of their HIV status and proof of residency in one of the 19 counties served in the Health Service Delivery Area.

25 Years
In 25 years of HIV in the US, 500,000 Americans have died from AIDS. Americans living with HIV / AIDS number 1.1 million and 40,000 new cases are diagnosed each year. The HIV / AIDS epidemic is not over. We can't turn our backs on this disease, We encourage you to explore our website and take a look at the services we offer, the needs of our organization and how you can help. In our 20th year, with your help we will EDUCATE our communities about HIV / AIDS, PREVENT the spread of this non-discrimate disease and treat those infected with the dignity they deserve and the SERVICE they require.
